It’s the first songwriting collaboration from the East Coast lineup of Blockage — Ryan came up with the concept and wrote the song, and Sean reshaped the lyrics to channel his disdain for corporate culture and its habit of treating worker bees as expendable. The result is a bleak little anthem about overvaluing work instead of life.
