To mark the arrival of our killer new album The Wonderful World of Blockage, we’re digging up the corpse of our first record, The Very Very Worst of Blockage and bringing it back to life—remixed, remastered, and slightly less rotten.
Why would we do such a thing? Because we want these songs to sound as good as the new album. The original 2022 release was stitched together during the height of COVID, when the world was on fire and our only studio was Sean’s Melrose Ave. apartment—home to a rotating cast of helicopters, sirens, leaf blowers, barking dogs, and existential dread.
This time, we’ve scrubbed off the noise, re-recorded the vocals, and dialed in a mix that finally sounds like it was meant to. It’s still The Very Very Worst, but now it sounds its very best. The remixed album comes out Winter 2025.
